Biography

Retired as director of science and risk studies at Cato Institute in 1999.
Currently focusing on replacing assumption-based risk assessment practices with scientifically sound methods, promoting biotechnology and other advances in agriculture as means to preserve biodiversity and restoring the credibility of science as a method of obtaining knowledge.
